Ability Objectives：a) Improve their ability of using English in a communicative way; b) Make Ss be the real masters in class while the teacher acts as the director; c) Encourage Ss to practice, participate and co-operate in the classroom activities. Moral Objectives：a) Foster Ss’consciousness of good human sense; b) Familiarize the students with Mark Twain 教学重点 a) Useful words and expressions, such as, unusual, famous, be connected with, in a … voice. b) Make students understand the whole text comprehensively. 教学难点 a) How to conduct the tasks step by step. b) Help Ss understand the basis of the human story by combining with physical knowledge in our life. 教材处理（更新、补充、删节内容） Play a funny Flash related with echo to arouse Ss’interest.
