Methods j g The motor vehicle drivers were randomly selected to fill in a well- designed inquiry on their physiological, mental and behavioral situation.The data collected were analyzed by non- conditional logistic correlation analyses with sin le and multi le factor. Results A total of 2 318 drivers with no traffic violation and 4 389 drivers with viola g p tions were investi ated. The results indicated that the risk factors associated with traffic violations were: driver g sleepiness, poor eyesight (nearsightedness) , continuous long driving time , daily driving time, age, educational level, sex, and the records of revious violations.Conclusions The traffic violations were closel related to driver p y slee iness, continuous lon drivin time, nearsi htedness, and low educational level. p g g g [Ke ords] Motor vehicle drivers; Traffic violations; isk factors y , 1.2 [1] , 2007 ( 1) 327 209 ,442 : ( 2)
