Du ring the p a ssed decade s, great advance s were m ade in the annual p roduc tion by co ld storage to relea se the bu lb dorm ancy, p romote the quality of the fre sh flower and adju st the flower stage. However, more studie s shou ld be done on the m echan ism of the bu lb dorm ancy and flowering. In the m echan ism of the lily bu lb , the relation sh ip among the fou r typ e s of hormone s and the studie s on mo lecu lar level are the m ain direction s of study in the fu tu re.
