Review the words of colours Describe the pictures Step Three: Presentation 1.(Show two pictures of the same tree at the different time) Learn Picture 1a 1b Ask “What’s this?” to elicit “It’s a tree.” Ask “What colour are the leaves?” to elicit “They’re green/brown/yellow.” As you know, there are four seasons in a year. The leaves have different coulours when the season changes. Prompt the students to come to a conclusion: the leaves are green in spring. They’re brown and yellow in autumn. Read the two sentences: 1a The leaves are green in spring. 1b They are brown and yellow in autumn. 2.Learn Picture 2a 2b a.Learn the new words: afternoon, evening b.Why the sun has different colours?
