At present, in China, the chiller of vapor compression refrigeration is the major air condition ing cold source, the LiBr absorption chiller and heat pump units of various types also occupy a certain proportion. Storage technology and district cooling technology are seldom applied. Constru ction type de termines the function of its use, climatic conditions determines the use environmental conditions of build ings, which will affect the choice of cold and heat sources. Based on the survey results , this article points out the problem and analyses the energy saving potential.
