On the basis of the observation results, the reflectance of canopy, the reflectance ofw ater surface, the absorbed photo- synthetically active radiation (APAR) and the fraction of photosynthetically activeRadiation ( FAPAR) w ere calcu la-t ed and the variation regularities of them w ere stud ied. The results show ed that, the FAPAR of rice canopy and LA Ihad extremely strong correlations, w ith an accuracy of the correlation equation up to 88148% . Th is resu lt could be applied to link ing the ground data and remote data in large-scale global change research.
