Fuj ianA cademy of Forestry Sciences, F zho 350012, China ) Abstract: According to the field investigation and doc ment literat re collection,with the analysis abo t flora of sperma tophyte on Dongshan Island in F jian,the res lt indicated that: therewere 111families,406 genera and 632 species in this area. Pantropical families(45 families,acco nting for 40.54% of the total) distrib ted most,and the next was worldwide distrib tion families(42 families, acco nting for 37. 83% of the total) . T here were 57 tropical families, acco nting for 8361% of the total(excl ding theworldwidedistrib tion families) , and families of singlegen s or fewgenera were a b ndant.
