The synthesis and application of artificial and modified natural polymeric adsorption resin and its application in wastewater treatment and light polluted raw water treatment and advanced treatment are discussed emphatically. It got well concerned because of its better outlooks in waste treat- ment and resource reclaim discover. It will be a new generation adsorbent instead of activated carbon, but its research in engineering needs to be done better. The research outlooks are prospected in the end.
