[ Abstract] Cyclophilin A ( Cyp A) is the main intracellular receptor of cyclosporin A ( CsA) an eff ective immunosuppressive drug .
The intracellular functions of Cyp A having PPIase activity are combining w ith CsA to exert the immunosuppressive eff ect and inducing cell
apoptosis; the extracellular functions of Cyp A are participating inflammation and oxidative stress responses . In this article, we review the Cyp
Arelated diseases and the new drugs research whose targets are Cyp A .
