Abstract: The H- ection tapered member with thin web are di per ed by degenerated hell element with 3D and analyzed
con idering the whole double nonlinear cour e. The characterd load are pre ent to evaluate the local buckling property of H-
ection tapered member . The effect of average web width to thickne ratio and web tapering ratio on po t-buckling trength
of H- ection tapered member are analyzed. Some valuable conclu ion are drawn.
