It is believed that the ther- mal deformation of mechanical part is influenced by another five sorts of factors besides material ther- mal expansion. Tw o cylinders of different materials are taken as measuring objects and it is proved through experiment that thermal deformation of mechanical part is distinctly different from material thermal expansion.
