Methods 　Gem 800 mg/ m2 ivdrop d1 ,8 ,15 ;DD P 30 mg/ m2 iv drop d2 ～4 ,each cycle last ed for 28 day s ,at least for 2 cycles. Results 　Sixt y four p atient s were evaluat ed wit h 46 . 9 % , twent yeight p atient s of N SCL C were evaluat ed wit h 46 . 4 % ,eight een p atient s of p ancreatic cancer were evaluat ed wit h 44 . 4 % , eight een p atient s of breast cancer were evaluat ed wit h 50 . 0 %. Median survival time and T TP was 11 mont h s and 6 . 2 mont h s ,t he curative effect included ea sement of p ain ,obviou sly imp rovement of general st at e ,bett er qualit y of exi st ence and increased KP S score . The main adver se effect s were bone marrow dep ression ,nau sea ,vomitting and so on . There was no t reat ment relat ed deat h . Conclusion 　The elderly p atient s wit h advanced cancer t reat ed wit h GP regimen may obt ain high remi ssion rat e and low toxicit y and bett er tolerat ed alt ernative and rep resent s an op tion for t he t reat ment of t he elderly p atient s wit h advanced cancer .
