Results: Perifosine, depsipeptide, apicidin, butyrate and selenium induce luciferase altogether, and luciferase activity had no notable difference, P = 0. 336; While luciferase activity induced by C- M yc and selenium lactate had notable differ- enceP = 0. 005. Conclusion:Selenium has the function of apoptosis induction to the cancer cell, and the transcription regulate site of selenium to p21 promoter located in sp1 binding sites.
