Abstract: Objective:To analyse chem ical constituents of volatile oil from Bupleurum polyclonum Y . LI et S. L. an. M ethods:
A fter stream distillation, the volatile oilwas analysed by gas chrom atography/m ass spectyom etry. R esults: 78 com pounds were i
dentified from the volatile oil ofBunleurum polylonum Y. LI. et S. an, representing 91. 34% of the total. Them ain compounds of
the volatile oilwere pentadecane, tridecane, undecane, etc. Conclusion: Fatty volatile oil is a kind of characteristic ofBup ieurum
Polyclonum.
