ETHODS Thin layer chromatography (TLC) andUV were used to determ inateAsernestiosodeA ofA stragalus and select the optmi um technology to prepareYu Pingfeng pow ders. Anti- inflammatory activity ofYu Pingfeng powderswas investigated using edematous swellingmodel inm ice. RESULTSThe optmi um technologywas reflux extractionw ith the 80% ethano.l Yu Pingfengpowders had a significantly inhibitory effecton edem atous swelling of ears inm ice. CONCLUSION Yu Pingfeng powders have obvious anti- inflammatory activity.
