The results show e that the average carrying in ex of w ater resources w as high in the stu y area, implying the high egree of w ater resources utilization. Most counties belong to the istricts of w ater balance or w ater surplus, meaning that the population can be carrie by the current w ater resources or less ifficulty bearing in these regions. While in the mi le an northeast regions of Guanzhong, an the northw est regions of Tianshui city, the phenomenon of w ater overloa w as more serious, an it w as har to carry the current population by the w ater resources.
