After discussing parameters of PTH creep model of MSW, relation curves between landfilling course and MSW landfill’s height are obtained with the creep equation, based on landfilling process and landfilling program of Chongqing Changshengqiao sanitary landfill. Comparing with the method of soil consolidation theory, it is found that parameters selection still lies on experiences in the method of soil consolidation theory; and its hypothesis is not accordance with the practical situation. While all parameters in PTH creep equation can be acquired on an adequate basis b
