Abs tract: The tissue culture technology system ofSequoia semp erv irens was established using the introduced plant
materials and studying the effects of different hormones. The results indicated that putting the sterilized stem sec
tions onMS+ IBA 01mg /L+ KT 10 mg/L could get the highest germ ination rate. In the procedure of subcul
ture, the concentrations of adding 6- BA should be decreased gradually for getting healthy plant. The optmi um m e
dium for rooting was 1/4MS+ NAA 15mg/L+ IBA 25mg /L, w ith the rooting rate of74%, moreover the rate of
w ilt top and sprouting were all low.
