The First Peoples Hospital of Lanzhou, Lanzhou 730030, China) Abstract Objective: To provide personalized medication strategy by carrying out pharmaceutical care in patients with cerebral venous sinus thrombosis. Methods: Treatment principles of cerebral venous sinus thrombosis combined with principles of management of complications were used to analyze treatment regimen and an individualized pharmaceutical care plan was established and the entire pharmaceutical care was implemented for a case of cerebral venous sinus thrombosis. Results: Clinical pharmacists can provide personalized medication strategy for patient with cerebral venous sinus thrombosis by feasible drug treatment, paying close attention to drug interactions and contraindication, warfarin medical education and so on. Conclusion: By providing pharmaceutical care and individualized medication for patients with cerebral venous sinus thrombosis, the effectiveness, safety and compliance of treatment can be improved.
