Methods One undred and t irty2 five cases were randomly divided into a treatment group, a cont rol group Ñ, and a control group Ò, 45 cases in eac group. T e treatment group were treated wit acupunct ure at Yingxiang ( LI 20) , S angyingxiang (EX2HN 8), Yintang (EX2HN 3), H egu (LI 4) , Fengc i (GB 20) , Daz ui ( GV 14) , Feis u ( BL 13) ; t e control group Ñwit Yingxiang (LI 20) , S angyingxiang (EX2HN 8) , Yintang (EX2HN 3) , H egu ( LI 4) , and t e control group Ò wit oral administ ration of Biy a nk an g tablets, 4 tablets eac time, t rice eac day. Acupuncture was given one session daily, 10 sessions const ituting one course. T eir t erapeut ic effects were compared after treatment of 2 courses and were followed up a alf year later. Results T e total effective rate was 911 1% in t e treatment group, 711 1% in t e control group Ñand 461 7% in t e control group Ò, wit a signifi2 cant difference among t e 3 groups (P 01 05) , and wit a significant difference in t e recurrence rate one year later among t e cured cases of t e 3 groups ( P 01 05) . Conclusion Acupuncture as a definite t erapeut ic effect on al2 lergic r init is, wit a bet ter result by acupuncture wit t e anterior and posterior acupoint association met od. KEY
