Investigation and Preventive Measures of the University Students Depression

Abstract: Depression is a seriousmental illness, which does harm to human health. It gradually exerts influence on college
students, which has arousedwidespread social concern. Student self- rated depression scale ( SDS) isused to investigate themain
causes of the university students depression. Effective measures and early interference with depression are also suggested, which
are of a very important realistic significance, not only for college students to cultivate healthy and stable personality and develop
good psychological quality but also to promote harmony of society and the campus.
