Lecture 6 Lecture Comprehension and notes-taking Skills Language used in an academic lecture may be different from language that used in everyday listening situations. Interaction between speaker and listener in an academic lecture situation is different from interaction in everyday listening situations. Expectations in an academic lecture situation are different from expectations in everyday listening situations.
