Some ex cellent modern bamboo product designsw ere reorgan ized and sorted. From the point view ofmater ial selection, the relationsh ip betw een bamboo ind ividual d ifference and utilization rate in modern product design w as anal zed. It w as suggested that bamboo should be m ixed w ith other materials to overcom e the insu fficiencies in structure, function and aesthetics. The approaches to appl various bamboo materials w ere d iscussed from the perspectives of point, line, surface and volume. F inall, the process to design modern bamboo products w as demonstrated b a set of tables and chairsm ade of bamboo-board.
