Results 1. Samples in groups of freezing for 30 seconds and 60 seconds are injuried to inner part of the cartilage; 2. Ultrapathological findings in samples of freezing for 30 seconds are degeneration of cartilage cells. Ultrapathological findings in samples of freezing for 60 seconds are degeneration of major parts of cartilage cells, and necrosis of minor parts of cartilage cells; 3. Samples in group of APC using powers of 30w and group of APC using powers of 60w are also injuried to the cartilage , major cartilage cells are necrotic in samples of both groups; 4. the degree of necrosis in layer of cartilage in group of APC60w is more severe than that in group of APC 30w. Conclusion 1. It is dangerous to treat bases of masses in airway with low power (30w) and high power(60w) in APC and cryoablation of freezing for 60s in clinical operation; 2. It is safe to treat areas of mass bases with cryoablation of freezing for 30 seconds in the period of acute injury. It needs further evidence to determine whether it is safe in the w
