Public education is free to all citizens and permanent residents up the end of secondary school . Elementary education 初等教育 Children begin their education in elementary school at the age of 6 or 7 . Elementary school usually starts with kindergarten for little children , but some provinces don’t offer kindergarten in their educational system . Because whether primary or secondary school, the children should go to the nearest place to go to school .Elementary school runs through to grade 6 or 8, and is followed by secondary school or high school. For most young children, primary school’s study in Canada is a very happy thing, because you can study while you play with others. In class , the teacher will let the children sit on the carpet and make a circle to study. Secondary education 中等教育 The secondary education runs though to grade 8 to 12. In these years ,students must get 80 credits to graduate. This is the same as the university education in China. Summary In the Canadian education system, the students‘ results are confidential . So students have no easy to have inferiority（自卑情绪）, the students will not go to cheat to meet the exam. Their primary school is basically playing, in the senior school, the students began to force .
