In metals, the local magnetic 9 / moment EPR linewidth, ∆H , is expected to increase linearly with the tem- t a perature. In contrast, in Ce La Os the Gd EPR spectra show a nonlinear m x 1−x 2 - d n increase. In this work, the mechanisms that are responsible for the ther- o mal behavior of the EPR lines in Ce La Os are examined. We show c x 1−x 2 : v i that the exchange interaction between the local magnetic moments and the X r conduction electrons are responsible for the narrowing of the spectra at low a temperatures.
