By means of nominalization, the conception and meaning of nouns can be expressed by other parts of word speech. The simplest definition of nominalization refers to the production of nouns based on other word classes. On account of this point, nominalization is just a kind of conversion betwee n nouns and other word classes, which has been the interesting topic of linguistic researchers. Early in Ancient Greece Period, Plato and Aristotle discussed conversion between nominal compositions and predicate ones. With the deepening of scholars’ research, most of the attention was fixed on the nominalization field. Many linguists both at home and abroad have described, researched and discussed this linguistic phenomenon. Jespersen originally studied nominalization under the framework of grammatical study, analyzing English nominalization and a series of problems involved.
