Materials IWB, books SESSION 1 (55 mins) STAGE (TIME) AIMS Activity Teacher Talk Work mode Materials Warm up 5 mins Warm up. Learn the words of food. Greeting Talk about Ss’ favorite food. Game: Word-Categorize Competition (IWB) Divide Ss into 2 groups. Make a competition. Play 3 rounds with 3 topic words: Fruit, Drinks, and vegetable. Each time a S from group 1 say a word about the topic in 10 seconds, then the other S from group 2 say another word. When time is up, the group that say 1 more word will be the winner.
