Systematic Review on Randomized Controlled Trials of Treating Angina Pectoris with Regulating Qi and Promoting Blood Circulation Prescriptions Speciality: Formulas of Chinese Medicine Author: Jia Yiqing Tutor: Prof. Han Tao Abstract Objective: To evaluate the therapeutic efficacy and safety of regulating Qi and promoting blood circulation prescriptions for treating angina pectoris. Methods: According to the requisition of systematic review of evidence-based medicine, established a choice criterion of literatures, retrieved clinical randomized controlled trials of treating angina pectoris with regulating Qi and promoting blood circulation prescriptions from CBM, CNKI, VIP, WanFang, Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials(Issue 7,2011), PubMed till 2011, chose the qualified researches, evaluated the quality of the qualified researches with the Jadad standard of perfection, conducted tests for heterogeneity, Meta-analysis, sensitivity analysis, funnel plots analysis by Review Manager 5.1 software. Results: ① Collected 104 related clinical controlled trials, finally brought into 60 qualified articles, and the total sample size was 6074 cases. Jadad scores of 3 articles were more than 3 points, and which of the other articles were less than 3 points. ②Compared with controlled group, the experimental group which intervened by regulating Qi and promoting blood circulation prescriptions improved general clinical efficacy, the effect on angina pectoris, ECG, TCM syndromes and the discontinuation and decrease rate of glyceryl trinitrate significantly(P＜0.05). ③ The incidence of adverse reaction of the experimental group was low
