Abstract:The project is in hefei City, Anhui Province, a college office building. It has four stories, the height of the first story is 3.3 meters ,the others is 3.0 meters and the whole building is 12.3 meters.Anti-seismic grade of the structure is 3,and its seismic fortification intensity is 7. The design includes the following components: 1. project overview； 2. load calculation； 3.Analysis of the frame structure，including calculation and design； 4. roof，floor design； 5. the foundation design. The architectural and structural designs of the building are performed.8 structural and 10 architectural shop drawings are finished.The major purpose of the design is to do the anti-seismic design in the longitudinal frames of axis ⑩.According to the structural scheme, the horizontal seismic force can be got by way of the bottom-shear force method. The internal forces under the horizontal loads are analysied in terms of D value method and the internal forces under the vertical loads are calculated by means of second moment distribution method.
