Abstract: T he stu dy area w as selected J inghe and it s 7 sub -w atersheds in the middle of L oess Plateau . U sing the
runoff and sedim ent data of 8 hydrological st ations from 197 12003 and t he precipitation data in t his area from
1971 2000, classified M OD IS data of 2002, all of t hese w ere analy zed runof f and sedim ent variation of
w at ersheds and it s land cover feat ure. R esult s show t h at sedim ent y ield decrease slig ht ly but runof f y ield increase
obviously of Jinghe w atershed nearly 50 y ears T he visible dif ference of runof f yield and sediment yield and land
cover patt ern w ere found in this area T he
