The implementation of agent construction system has reduced the defects of traditional implementation way of government-invested project, and played an active role in improving the performance of project management. After a long time’s exploration, we have got some useful experiences. But there are still some problems. It is necessary to find ways to improve the management performance of agent construction project and grasp the key point——performance appraisal——during the process of continuous improvement of management performance. Then the continuous improvement of agent construction project management performance can be realized through the cycle between performance improvement and performance appraisal. This thesis systematically reviewes the study on project management performance at home and abroad from performance improvement and appraisal respectively. Performance improvement ways are mainly bases on economics paradigm
