This paper takes the extended project item of the zinc smelting system 100,000 tons per year in Henan gold lead as background to develop work research ., Through analysising the automatic current situation of zinc smelting and contrasting the characteristics of PLC , DCS , FCS control system, We select DCS control system for use and control the process Tech. in the zinc craft of roasting . In the course of designing , according to the zinc roasting technological requirement ,We confirm control the content of. DCS, We Have designed the hardware system, software system,etc. in the whole DCSsystem. On the basis of installing, debugging, the design of this project DCS system has been improved and supplemented again. Meanwhile , We carry on analysis and research to the operation conditions of this project. Successing of project can realize automation to detect of parameter for roast craft, reveal , control ,etc. The control system roasted in the craft is connected with other control sy
