Based on the definition of economic attributes of forest insurance and the comprehensive analysis for the interests of forest insurance options, the essay lays the certain theoretic foundation for drawing up the forest insurance policies and carrying out comprehensive business of forest insurance. Being the important component of the global ecological system, the forest has many missions to meet the national economic and social development needs and the ecological demand. Table 1 and Figure 1 present the forest disaster situation and the forest fire disaster statistics in the past ten years in China, the data directly shows that Chinas ability to combat forest disasters is insufficient.
