Chaibanliuhe soup on early stage chronic renal failure patients and
its intervention on nutritional status

Abstract
Objective: To observe the chaibanliuhe soup decoction in the treatment of early
chronic renal failure patients and its intervention effect of nutrition state, From the Angle
of modern medicine, discusses the mechanism.
Methods: 80 cases of chronic renal failure patients were randomly divided into two
groups, the treatment group was treated with the chaibanliuhe soup , and control group was
treated with Uremic Clearance granule, 2 months for a course oftreatment, the therapeutic
results were observed and analysis.
Results: the total effective rate of the treatment group was 90%, the clinical syndrome
of total score decreased significantly, than in control group ( P 0.01 ); the treatment
group patients serum creatinine ( Scr ), blood urea nitrogen ( BUN ) level decreased,
endogenous creatinine clearance rate ( Ccr ) levels are elevated, curative effect is obviously
superior to the control group ( P 0.05); SGA scores in treatment group decreased (P
0.01 ), hemoglobin ( Hb ), serum albumin ( ALB ), albumin ( PA ) levels rise, high
sensitive C reactive protein ( Hs-CRP ) level decreased, curative effect is obviously
superior to the control group ( P 0.05 ), cholesterol ( CH ) level did not change
significantly.
Conclusion: the chaibanliuhe soup decoction in the treatment of chronic renal failure
efficacy is obvious, can protect the renal function, improve nutrition, improve patients
quality of life.
