St. Charles Community College Draft - Board of Trustees Meeting - Open Session Monday, December 7, 2015 M I N U T E S CALL TO ORDER AND INTRODUCTION OF GUESTS The regular meeting of the Board of Trustees was called to order at 5:30 p.m. by Board president Mack with all members present except Robertson. Also present were College president Ron Chesbrough; Cabinet members Chris Breitmeyer, Donna Davis, Todd Galbierz, Heather McDorman, Kasey McKee, and Bill Strecker; and staff member Julie Parcel. Audience members who introduced themselves were staff members Ryan Buenemann, Pat Haynes, Sharon Schreiber, Bob Ronkoski, Chris Romer, Susie Rubemeyer, and Karen Jones; Faculty Association president Monica Hall-Woods, Student Senate president Farhan Babar; and county residents Eric Brooman, Darlene Brooman, and Arnie C. Dienoff. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE Board president Mack led the Board, staff, and audience in the Pledge of Allegiance. AWARD PRESENTATION Following the Pledge of Allegiance, Dr. Chesbrough and the Board of Trustees presented Karen Jones, Dean of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences, with the Missouri Community College Association Global Educator Award, received on her behalf by Dr. Chesbrough in early November. Jones created the Canterbury exchange program at SCC over 20 years ago, providing opportunities for students and faculty to study in Canterbury, England. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: REGULAR MEETING OF OCTOBER 26, 2015 - Action On a motion by Pundmann and a second by Cilek, minutes of the October 26, 2015, regular Board meeting were accepted as presented. APPROVAL OF AGENDA - Action On a motion by Lohmar and a second by Ehlmann, the agenda was approved. TREASURERS REPORT - APPROVAL TO PAY BILLS - Action Treasurer Ehlmann presented the Treasurer’s Report. Cash in bank $4,807,598; total in
