Utilizes high stiffness, hydrostatic oil bearing slide-ways with an aerostatic, slot-type thrust bearing spindle to achieve ultra-precision contouring performance. Utilizes Precitech’s UPx? control system with reliable, real-time QNx? operating system for advanced programming solutions. Optional high speed grinding system for direct grinding of small lens molds in non-diamond machinable materials such as ferrous metals and ceramics. Available with optional rotational axes including oil hydrostatic rotary B-Axis and C-Axis spindle encoder for positioning.
