T he metho dology and determination criterion for mix ed phase seismic w avelet est imatio n w ere introduced under the conditions that there are no zeros on the unit circle for z-tr ansformation of w avelet and the automation of w avelet is assumed to be know n. T hen the method for mixed- phase seismic w avelet estimation w as w ork out based amplitude spectrum modeling for the seismic w avelet . Sy nthetic and real data ex amples demonstrated the eff ective- ness of the method .
