Thisthesisbeginswithstudyingthepresentsituationofthewaterrfontof WeiRiver,Baoji.Itexpoundstherelationshipbetweenthecityandadjacentriver, andrevealstheadjacentriversinfluenceoverthecityacrossriver.Then it furtherinquiresintotheproblemsthatWeiRiverisconfrontedwith:ecological environment,landscapedesign,physicalplanning,trafficandriverbedplanning. Everyprobelm wasanalysedanddeliberatedinthefollowingorder:raising problems,analysingandpresentingasolution.Finally,thethesissumsupthe mainplanningproblemsaboutthewaterfrontofthecitiesacrossriverinNorth China.
