Abstract
A nicke1nanowirecatalystwaspreparedbyahardtemplatemethod，andcharacterizedbytransmissionelectronmicroscopy(TEM)，N，
physicaladsorption，X—rayphotoelectronspectrometry(xPs)，x—raydiffraction(XRD)andH2temperature—programmedreduction(H2一TPR)．
ThecatalyticpropertiesofthenanowirecatalystinthepartialoxidationofmethanetosyngaswerecomparedwithametallicNicatalystwhich
waspreparedwithnickelsponge．Thechraacterizationresultsshowedthatthenickelnanowirecatalysthadhighspecificsurfaceareaandthere
wasmoreNiO phaseinthenickelnanowilecatalystthaninthemetallicNicatalyst．ThereactionresultsshowedthatthenickeJnanowire
catalysthadhighCHdconversionandselectivitiesforH，andCOunderlow spacevelocity．
