Summary the law of curing Chest stuffiness of ancient and modern doctors use, and provide guidance for the treatment of Chest stuffiness in the future.Methods: Input the Prescriptions for Chest stuffiness to Prescription analysis system that was invented ourselves, standardizing the syndromes, symptoms and the name of traditional Chinese medicine. Studying the frequency of syndrome differentiation, frequency of TCM, frequency of TCM-TCM, frequency of TCM groups and the correlation degree between different syndromes and single TCM, TCM-TCM and TCM groups using Varclus cluster analysis and Logistic regression analysis by Prescription analysis system and SAS statistical software.Results: Among the 245 prescriptions for Chest stuffiness, (1)frequency of different syndromes analysis: there are 7 kinds of syndromes, descending order of frequency is :①64 prescriptions of blood stasis in the heart vessels syndromes;②47 prescriptions of phlegm syndromes;③39 prescriptions of cold condensate heart pulse syndromes; ④34 prescriptions of stagnation of Qi syndromes; ⑤25 prescriptions of Qi-Yin deficiency syndromes; ⑥14 prescriptions of heart kidney Yang deficiency syndromes;⑦6 prescriptions of heart kidney Yin deficiency syndromes.⑵frequency of TCM analysis: there are 206 kinds of TCM, the highest frequency of TCM is 35.10%, the lowest frequency of TCM is 0.41%.⑶Clustering analysis of TCM: There are 13 kinds of TCM g
