But due to stress shielding causes series of clinical problems. Non-fusional dynamic stabilization can not ensure the stability of the spine.Therefore,we need to find new treatment methods and new materials. Objective: Contrast the therapeutic effect of PEEK and titanium pedicle fixation system combined with interbody fusion in the treatment of lumbar spinal stenosis, providing reference for clinical work. Materials and methods:Collected 60 cases who acceptted the operation treatment of decompression, interbody fusion and internal fixation from August 2010 to April 2011,Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital.Strictly follow-up them.There were 29 males, 31 females, average age 55.3 years. They were randomly divided into two groups, the test set for the A group, the control group as group B. Contrast bone graft fusion and lumbar function of the two groups of patients after their operations. Results: 4 weeks, 12 weeks and 24 weeks after lumbar operation, we examined bone graft fusion of the two groups of patients through operation area x-ray, it showed that group A was better than group B.Through Oswestry disability index, the two groups had no significant differences in lumbar function.
