with Unstable Angina Pectoris

ABSTRACT
Objective To observe the clinical effect of Erwu Wenyang paste on patients with
unstable angina pectoris(syndrome of yang deficiency of heart and kidney).Methods 60
patients with unstable angina pectoris of syndrome of yang deficiency of heart and kidney
were randomly devided into treatment group and control group of 30 cases 30 cases.
Patients in control group were treated for western medicine conventionally; patients in
treatment group were treated for Erwu Wenyang paste besides the conventional treatment,
for 20 days. Patients of 2 groups were observed the changes of the clinical symptoms, the
physical signs, the electrocardiogram(ECG), the colour Doppler echocardiography(CDE),
the brain natriuretic peptide(BNP) and the blood lipid before and after process. Results
The effective ratio of the treatment group was 86.7 %, the control group was 66.3%. The
clinical effect of the treatment group was better than the control group (P0.05).
Conclusion Erwu Wenyang paste are able to treat the patients with unstable angina
pectoris effectively.
