Clinical Study on Effect of Erzhi Tiangui Granule in Improving Growth Differentiation Factor-9 （GDF- 9 ）mRNA Expression Levels in the Granulosa Cells and the Quality of Oocyte from Patients Speciality Gynecology of TCM ，the Study of Female Sterility : Author:Minmin Wei Tutor: Prof ．Fang Lian Abstract Objective: To investigate the effects of Erzhi Tiangui Granule on the kidney in patients undergoing in vitro fertilization -embryo transfer (IVF-ET) cycle of growth differentiation factor-9 （GDF- 9 ）expression levels in granulose cells . Methods: Sixty-six tubal infertility patients undergoing IVF-ET were randomly assigned to two groups ,Thirty-three patients in the treatment group were treated with Erzhi Tiangui Granule and GnRHa /FSH /hCG, and the other thity-three patients in the control group were treated with Placebo and GnRHa /FSH /hCG. To observe the clinical basic situation of two groups of patients before treatment ,the clinical symptoms of integral comparison before and after the treatment two groups, to observe the comparison of based endocrine FSH, E2 before treatment two sets of patients . After the treatment ，Real-time PCR was performed to detect the levels of GDF-9 mRNA in granulose cells obtained from different response groups. The dose of gonadotropin (Gn), the number of oocytes, the rates of fertilization, oocyte cleavage , high quality oocyte ,high quality embryo , and pregnancy were compared, to test the Correlation between the levels of GDF-9 mRNA in granulose cells and the rate of high quality oocyte as well as the rate of high quality embryo.
