Theoretical and clinical study on the therapy of Exudative Age-related Macular Degeneration based on the Collateral Theory Specialty：Ophthalmology of Traditional Chinese Medicine Student：Yao Jie Tutor：Prof.Guo Chengwei Abstract Objective: On the basis of the Collateral Theory ,from the point of penetration about collateral disease ,the Exudative age-related macular degeneration patient were observed with TCM and collateral puncture about the vision, Amsler list ,the contrast sensitivity ,the macular sign and FFA, the new thinking and methods of the therapy of Exudative age-related macular degeneration were explored. Methods: 45(68 eyes) patients with AMD are divided into test group(n=23,35 eyes) and control group(n=22,33 eyes) randomly. The test group was treated with modified Zhu Jing Wan combined with DAHUANGZHECONG PILL and Acupuncturing, based on the important acupuncture point about the temples , Jingming Tongziliao Hegu Quchi Zusanli Guangming Fenglong Zhaohai ,and syndrome differentiation ,prompt prick integrated horizontal needle .while the Control group was treated based on syndrome differentiation and treatment. The treatment of AMD patients were observed about the vision, Amsler list ,the contrast sensitivity ,the macular sign and FFA ,and contacted to the control group ,to appraise the clinical therapy .Result: The clinical study showed that (1) the modified Zhu Jing Wan with DAHUANGZHECONG PILL and Acupuncturing can improve the vision obviously and the efficiency is better than control group(P0.05).(2) the macular sign of the test group was improved than the control group .especially on absorbed bleeding(P0.05).(3) FFA sh
