Clinical Study on Chronic Heart Failure Treated with the Method of YI QI XIE FEI LI SHUI Speciality: Internal Medicine of TCM Author: Wang muhua Tutor: Professor Gao Hongchun Abstract Objective: To observe the clinical effect of the prescription of Yi Qi Xie Fei Li Shui on chronic heart failure (CHF) and explore its mechanism and treatment. Methods: 60 patients of CHF were randomly divided into treatment group (30cases) and control group (30cases). The control group was treated with Enalapril, Hydrochlorothiazide and Metoprolol; The treatment group was treated with the prescription of Yi Qi Xie Fei Li Shui and half dosage of the medicines. Observe curative effect after four weeks. Results: the total effective rates of relieving heart failure, improving heart function and meliorating symptoms were respectively 86.7%, 80% and 83.3% in the treatment group; the corresponding remarkable rates of them were respectively 30%, 40% and 56.7%, which were significantly better than those of the control group (P0.05). The level of BNP in plasma was decreased remarkably in the treatment group, which was statistically different compared with it in the control group (P0.01). Conclusion: the prescription of Yi Qi Xie Fei Li Shui can obtain more remarkable curative effect on treatment of CHF.
