The Clinical Observation and Experimental Study for Treatment Postherpetic Neuralgia With SiZhongJinGou Decoction Specialty：Dermatology,Surgery of TCM Author ： Sun Shuna Tutor： Zhang Xiaojie Abstract Objective: To observe the clinical effect of SiZhongJinGou decoction for PHN and explore its mechanism of treatment. Methods: 60 cases of PHN patients were randomly divided into 2 groups, the treatment group SiZhongJinGou decoction group and the control group for Indomethacin, two groups of patients given acupuncture treatment at the same time,Course of treatment is four weeks, Using visual analog scale assessment, observation of two groups of patients with pain and treatment before and after treatment. Experimental study on the use of writhing method in mice, mouse hot plate pain model of experimental animals to observe the analgesic effect of SiZhongJinGou decoction.Result: 73.33% cure rate in treatment group, compared with the control group were significantly different(P0.05), and the total efficiency of 90.00%, compared with the control group there was no significant difference(P0.05).Animal experiments have shown that SiZhongJinGou decoction can significantly reduce in the number of writhing in mice induced by acetic acid,to increase the pain threshold in mice due to hot-plate. Conclusion: The treatment for PHN of SiZhongJinGou decoction have sure effect, safety, drug side effects, can significantly improved quality of life in patients,its mechanism related to Analgesic effect.
