The Research of the Academic Features of Moxibustion in Song Dynasty Specialty ：Acupuncture,moxibustion and massage Author ：Zhang Yingying Tutor ：Yang Dianhui Abstract The thesis induced and analyzed the medical books and literatures about moxibustion in Song Dynasty to find the origin and sequence of the development of moxibustion in Song Dynasty, and to abstract the clinical idea and find the way how it can serve the clinical development. The thesis falls into four parts, the 1st part is overview of moxibustion in Song Dynasty, which summarize the characteristic of moxibustion in Song Dynasty. The 2nd part introduces the representative doctors who are mastery in moxibustion and their academic achievements, including Wang Zhizhong, Dou Cai, Zhuang Chuo,Wenren Qinian,Xu Shuwei, and medical works including Xi Fangzi Ming Tong Moxibustion . The 3rd part is the academic characteristic of moxibustion in Song Dynasty. The 4th part is about the influence of the academic characteristic of moxibustion in Song Dynasty to modern clinical practice.
