We appreciate the opportunity to discuss the workings of our product – that product being industrial fans. Over the course of the next hour or so, we’re going to have the opportunity to talk in detail about fans. We’ll discuss the fan laws; we’ll talk a little bit about the testing and rating of fans; we’ll discuss the various fan types – the advantages and disadvantages of each type; and we’ll show some typical fan installations and applications. ? Finally we’ll discuss the most important aspect of our presentation: Why fans don’t always operate as advertised. There we’ll describe and display a phenomenon known as system effect. And we think you’ll come away with the realization that your system can profoundly impact fan performance. You’ll see just how important good system design is to maximize your fan’s capabilities. ?
