Civil war in China three revolutionary civil wars 1924-----1927“北伐战争”-----第一次大革命 1927-----1937“十年内战”或“土地革命时期”---第二次的革命 1945------1949“解放战争” Chinas war of Liberation 1945-1949 the suvey In a little more than four years after Japan’s surrender, the CCP (chinese commmunity party)and thePLA (People’s Liberation Army) conquered mainland China, and, on Oct. 1, 1949, the People’s Republic of China was established, with its capital at Beijing . The factors that brought this about were many and complex and subject to widely... why ? The story of the Chinese civil war is the tale of a failed state in which numerous domestic political and military factions are vying(竞争) for power, while aggressive foreign powers are impinging on Chinese sovereignty(主权), and at the same time the entire world is plunged into the Great Depression, WWII, and the early stages of the Cold War. Given the huge size of China, in both population and geographic scope, and the chaos that followed the fall of the last dynasty, it is no surprise that this is a very complicated tale. Immediate post-war clashes (1945–1946) Under the terms of the Japanese unconditional surrender dictated by the United States, Japanese troops were ordered to surrender to KMT(the Chinese Nationalist Party) troops and not to the CPC (Communist Party of China)present in some of the occupied areas.In Manchuria, however, where the KMT had no forces, the Japanese surrendered to the Soviet Union. Chiang Kai-Shek ordered the Japanese troops to remain at their post to receive the guomindang and not surrender their arms to the communists.
